ThedaleThedale, under the collective guidance of three distinguished lords, Farea, Yoril, and Rana, operates as a harmonious triarchy, steering the course of the entire continent. They enforce the regiment of the Lords prior to them; Yuxah, Ozis and Noksic, who imposed a stringent ban on all practitioners of magic, regardless of their human or Reosean origins. Presently, although the shadows of disapproval still linger, magic users find a cautiously tolerant reception and are no longer cast aside with outright rejection.
Thedale's economy revolves in an unending cycle of fluctuation, characterized by stark contrasts. The main cities and their smaller counterparts exude opulence and are adorned with exquisite embellishments, yet the lesser towns and villages languish in abject poverty, providing an ideal breeding ground for criminal activities. Spanning predominantly across arid deserts and rugged terrains, Thedale presents a formidable challenge for the construction of even a small abode, let alone an entire city. The cities themselves are often widely dispersed, necessitating the bonding of Thedale Reoseans with humans to facilitate travel and aid in traversing the vast distances between urban centers. The weather that graces Thedale's domain is sun-drenched and parched for the majority of the year. Amongst the mosaic of its landscape, numerous small lakes dot the terrain, yet it is the few larger lakes that serve as the focal point around which Thedale's major cities are woven. |
