Innate MagicThe degree of magical ability present in each Reosean varies considerably.
While some individuals exhibit immediate signs of being born with innate magic, there are others in whom such potential remains veiled. In the wake of the fading magical energies during Aster's rule, a substantial portion of the Reosean population found themselves bereft of any magical capabilities. In current times, this has resulted in it being necessary for Reoseans to undertake the arduous journey of awakening their latent spark to access and develop their magic. Under the guidance of King Vashel and within a societal framework that cherishes individual will and freedom, there has been a resurgence in magic among individuals. In some Reoseans, this resurgence manifests as the growth of horns, an unmistakable indication of their magical essence. The primary use of magic among Reoseans is twofold: to alleviate the burdens of labor and to help them in quests. However, the scope of magic extends beyond the confines of their daily work, encompassing a host of possibilities. The mastery of these abilities often demands years of dedicated practice and study, ultimately allowing a reosean to manipulate objects, wield magic for both defense and offense, or contribute to the construction and development of their towns. It is also essential to note that not all who harness magic do so for the right reasons, making them formidable adversaries. |

In the World of Reos ARPG...
...magic is mostly a way to gain additional bonuses, as well as a way to build your character and their lore. With each magical level your Reosean achieves, they access bigger and more valuable bonuses. See magic as something that will help you in several different activities in the game such as quests, games, and battles.
In order for a non-corrupted Reosean to utilize magic, they must go through a number of studies. This is known as the Path of Magic. First they will awaken their spark, then they will choose which route they wish their magic to take, and then they will complete further magic to become a spellmaster.
For those Reoseans who exhibit a corrupted mutation but wish to harness magic, their options are limited to items.

Magical Items
Reoseans in current day are born with varying connections to magic, dependent upon the presence or absence of specific magical traits. Those who bear a Corrupted Mutation are devoid of any magical ability, a state often referred to as 'veiled' magic. This absence of magic is the underlying cause for the manifestation of Corrupted Mutations.
